It’s official! The season 2 premiere date for American Ninja Warrior Junior Season 2 will be on February 22nd, 2020 @ 7pm ET on Universal Kids. Universal Kids dropped an extended trailer for the new season on their Instagram today.
One change for the season will be the addition of wildcard rounds. A few ninjas who would have been eliminated under last seasons format will have the opportunity to run the the course again to qualify for a wildcard spot to get into the semi-finals.
The American Ninja Warrior Junior Kids webpage also reveals that the co-host for Season 2 will be Victoria Arlen – a Paralympic gold-medalist in swimming, as well as a reporter for ESPN. She will join Akbar Gbajabiamila & Matt Iseman, who are both returning to hosting duties for Season 2.
In addition, American Ninja Warrior Nation is reporting the course information for Season 2. It will include 10 classic ANW Obstacles: Shrinking and Floating Steps, the Little Dipper, Spider Walls, Double Tilt Ladders, Crazy Cliffhanger, the Block Run, Flying Squirrel, Wingnuts, Skyhooks, and the Warped Wall.
