American Ninja Warrior is back in 2024
The premiere for Season 16 of American Ninja Warrior will be on June 3, 2024 on NBC.
This season continues the big format changes that took place in Season 15 of the show. This means that there will be head to head ninja vs ninja competitions in the semifinals to help decide who makes it to the national finals of the show. Season 15 and Season 16 actually filmed back to back – so these episodes were recorded early in 2023.

Since Season 15 and Season 16 taped back to back over the same dates, it wasn’t 100% clear which ninjas who got calls last year were on which season of the show. You can see the list of episodes below to see who ended up competing in each episode.
Filming Locations & Dates of American Ninja Warrior Season 16 2024
Both the qualifiers and semi-finals were filmed at the same location. And since Season 16 was taped at the same time as Season 15, the filming for Season 16 took place in spring of 2023, even though this season isn’t airing until 2024.

- Semifinals – March 22nd-ish, 2023 – Los Angeles, California: Universal Studios Hollywood
- National Finals – Early May 2023 – Las Vegas, Nevada

It’s free to attend a taping – but you have to sign up for and request free tickets. Tickets were made available via the On camera Audience website.
Casting & Qualifying to compete on American Ninja Warrior (ANW) Season 16 in 2024
Casting for Season 15 & 16 opened on November 19th, 2022. The deadline to apply to be part of Season 16 of American Ninja Warrior in 2023 was December 16th, 2022. You can submit an application to be on the show here.  The application requires several page of details, and a submission video.
