Heads up ninja warrior fans! For at least the next two weeks, NBC will be rebroadcasting some of their “USA vs The World” American Ninja Warrior episodes in a prime time slot on Monday evenings!
Tonight, August 3rd, will see the Season 10 (2018) USA vs the World special be shown, which originally aired in January of 2019. You can find our original recap of the episode here.
Next week, August 10th, the Season 11 (2019) USA vs the World special will be shown, which was first shown in January of 2020. You can see our full recap of the episode here.
Still to also be shown at some point? The 2020 All Star Special: Teams & Skills Competition, that was filmed after the completion of Season 11. That special typically airs the week before the first city qualifying episode airs, so once we see that drop onto the schedule, it would be a pretty good indicator new episodes from 2020’s Season 12 of ANW are coming!
Speaking of new episodes, we already have confirmation that Season 12 of American Ninja Warrior has wrapped filming for two weeks in St. Louis, with 150 ninjas taking part in the competition. What we don’t know is how quickly the production team can get episodes edited and ready to air. If nothing else, NBC could take the opportunity to run some sneak peaks or teasers during Titan Games or the USA vs the World special rebroadcasts, to take advantage of the increased eyeballs and interest!
