Tyler Gillett has been submitting videos to American Ninja Warrior since the age of 14. When he turned 21 and was eligible to compete, he participated in Season Nine. His rookie run was phenomenal, he placed 3rd in the City Qualifying Courses, 7th in the City Finals, and during the Vegas Finals run cleared Stage One. Tyler Gillett also competed on Season Three of Ninja Vs. Ninja as the team captain of The Young Bloods. The Young Bloods was a team made up of Rookies from Season Nine, and they made it all the way to the Playoffs.
