Obstacle Warrior Kids Sandy NNL Qualifier January 2020
Event Navigation
The course will have somewhere between 10-20 obstacles, which will test a variety of skills (Balance, coordination, Grip strength, Grip endurance, and upper body power). You will not have the opportunity to practice ahead of time, even during an open gym. A course might have slight adjustments made for female participants, in that a trampoline height or distance might be altered, or a time limit might be change. This would apply to all females in all categories for that competition.
The qualifying run will be this single stage – it will not have multiple stages. The Top 3 males & Top 3 females from each category will qualify to advance to the finals. If there are less than 3 in the category, all those who attendeded and registered in that category advance. You may only qualify at one event, but may participate in as many qualifying events as you would like. If you have already qualified, and compete again, the qualifying spot at future events roll to the next participant who has yet to qualify if necessary.
Open gyms may be available, however, there can be no indication of how the course will be configured the day of the competition.
When the following age groups (Pro, Adult 18+, and Masters 40+) fail a course their run will be over. They will not be allowed to continue on the course. When other age groups (Kids 6-8, Mature Kids 9-10, Preteens 11-12, Teens 13-14) fail a course or obstacle, gyms will be required allow athletes an opportunity to finish the course or run as many obstacles as they can in the allotted time. Gyms have the option to choose whether to allow Young Adults (15-17) to complete the course or not.
Spectators are encouraged, check with the gym to find out pricing.
